Dear Brothers and Sisters in the Dharma,
Pa Auk Sayadaw is returning to Nibbinda Forest Monastery this coming
14/3 and will be arriving at Penang airport at 1625 hours together with
Bhante U Aggania, Bhante U Khansa and Bhante U Mahinda.
Sayadaw and the abovementioned fellow Bhantes will be staying at
Nibbinda from 14/3 until 20/3 to lay the SIMA stone and the setting up
of our new Sima hall. The date and time for
setting up our new Sima hall will be decided by Sayadaw and will then be
advised to fellow devotees in due course (date & time now has been
determined as given above).
This new SIMA hall building measures about 6000 square feet.
Before the scheduled arrival of Sayadaw and the abovementioned fellow
Bhantes, the following other Bhantes will be in attendance to perform
the site removal ceremony first just before Sayadaw's arrival.
The Bhantes who will be performing the site removal ceremony are Bhante
U Kun, Bhante U Candimar, Bhante Dhammasubho, Bhante Dhammapala, Bhante
Sucita, Bhante Buddharakkhita, Bhante Khemasiri, Bhante Visuddhacara and
Bhante Sujata who will respectively be arriving based on the following
schedule:
Bhante Dhammapala & Bhante Sucita will arrive on 5/3;
Bhante U Kun & Bhante U Candimar will arrive on 6/3;.
Bhante Dhammasubho & Bhante Khemasiri and Bhante Visuddhacara will
arrive on 7/3; Bhante Buddharakkhita & Bhante Sujata arriving on 8/3.
Additionally there will also be other Bhantes who have indicated their
willingness to participate in the site removal ceremony.
As such, all devotees are welcomed to offer lunch dana daily from 8/3
onwards until 19/3 and the daily lunch dana time is at 11.00am.
Sayadaw & fellow bhantes will be departing in the morning of 20/3.
Devotees who needs transportation up
to Nibbinda for the lunch dana sessions are kindly requested to wait at
the car park opposite The Sacred Heart School,
Balik Pulau, Penang from 9.00am-10.15am daily during the
aforementioned dates from 8/3 to 19/3.
